A PLACE
CHARGED WITH HISTORY

The castle was established in the 16th century, on land that belonged for more than 500 years to the Mustel family; an important Rouen family from the 14th and 15th centuries. The Mustel family is lord of Bosc-Roger, quarter of fief of Haubert, located in the communes of Bouquetot and Rougemontiers. The castle was put up for sale by Charles Mustel, lord of Bosc-Roger, after the death of his brother Philippe († 1710) and was acquired in 1724 by Robert Deusquerque.

THE GARDENS OF BOSC ROGER ...

The castle is surrounded by French gardens, which offer a spectacle for those who wish to wander in the park . Two vast spaces have been decorated with boxwood lace and yew topiaries.

On one side, an old maze has given way to a rose garden. Today, nearly 200 rose bushes can be found on the estate.

Then, at the ends of the gardens, two half-rotundas; one marked in the center by a statue of a deer, the other surrounded by a hedge of hornbeams and beeches, giving the impression of a theater set.
